You can find and claim your unclaimed funds by visiting the online Treasure Hunt or calling the Division of Unclaimed Funds toll free at 877-644-6823.

Never pay anyone in advance to search for your unclaimed funds. You can conduct the search yourself at no cost by visiting the online Treasure Hunt.

You do not have to hire a paid professional finder to find or claim your funds, because you can find or claim your funds on your own. But if you do decide to hire a finder, remember that Ohio law requires professional finders operating in the state to be registered by the Ohio Department of Commerce. Before deciding to use a professional finder, call the Division of Unclaimed Funds at 877-644-6823 to make sure the finder is registered.
