Abby Schafer

Abby Schafer is the Ohio Department of Commerce’s Legislative Director. In this role, Abby advocates on behalf of the Department to the Ohio General Assembly, the Governor’s office, local and federal officials, and key stakeholders. Prior to her role at Commerce, she was a legislative aide in the Ohio House of Representatives and Ohio Senate and a 2016 LSC Legislative Fellow.

Abby is a graduate of Xavier University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science.
