Jonithon Lacross joined the Department of Commerce in August of 2020 as the Sr. Legislative Liaison. Prior to joining Commerce, Jonithon spent several years as the Director of Public Policy and Government Affairs for the State Medical Board of Ohio, worked for the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, the Mitt Romney presidential campaign, and Van Meter, Ashbrook and Associates. Jonithon earned a dual bachelor’s in political science and justice studies from Kent State University and is currently obtaining his law degree from Capital University Law School.
