The Board of Building Appeals conducts 119 hearings remotely as well as in-person 3 days per month.  The appeals are made from adjudication orders or citations issued by:

• Any certified building department; state, county or local
• Bureau of Operations and Maintenance; boiler and elevator section
• Fire Citations (OFC) issued by the State Fire Marshal's office or any local fire department with a certified fire safety inspector.

The board may reverse, modify or uphold an order of the enforcing agency.
