State Fire Marshal Rules Toledo Area Fire Arson

TOLEDO, Ohio. — A structure fire in Curtice (Lucas County) near Toledo has been ruled arson by the Division of State Fire Marshal’s Fire and Explosion Investigation Bureau. Investigators are seeking tips from the public to help identify those responsible. 

On Wednesday, Dec. 7, at approximately 6:15 a.m., the Jerusalem Township Fire Department along with other mutual aid departments were dispatched for a fire at 11755 Rachel Road. The structure was unoccupied and there were no injuries.

The Blue Ribbon Arson Committee is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this fire.
