Installers
The Division of Industrial Compliance licenses and regulates manufactured home installers. Anyone performing any type of installation work of a manufactured home in Ohio must be licensed by the Division of Industrial Compliance. The only exception to this requirement is that an individual may install a manufactured home without an installer license if all of the following apply:
- The individual owns the manufactured home being installed;
- The individual owns the real property upon which the manufactured home is being installed;
- The manufactured home is being installed for the individual's own occupancy; and
- The manufactured home is not being installed in a manufactured home park.
