Medical Marijuana Control Program (MMCP)

The MMCP is comprised of three state agencies. The Department of Commerce is responsible for the licensing and regulation of cultivators, processors, and testing labs.

Cultivators & Processors
In the Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program, licensed cultivators grow medical marijuana from seeds into mature plants. The licensed processors then manufacture the plant material into a variety of products that includes oils, edibles, capsules, patches, and lotions.
