The Division of Real Estate and Professional Licensing is part of the Ohio Department of Commerce. This division is responsible for licensing Ohio's real estate brokers, salespeople, appraisers and foreign real estate dealers and salespeople. Foreign real estate is any real estate or interest in real estate that is not situated in Ohio. Persons licensed as a foreign real estate dealer or salesperson may solicit or sell any interest in foreign real estate in the state of Ohio.
