Fire Prevention
The Fire Prevention Bureau’s primary responsibilities are: providing Ohio’s fire service and citizens with fire and life safety education, maintaining the Ohio Fire Incident Reporting System, and promoting Project S.A.F.E. (Smoke Alarms For Everyone).
Through detailed analysis of Ohio's Fire Data, we create educational programs that bring awareness to identified risks.
To mitigate those risks we train fire department's in the delivery of fire prevention programs. This is done through education to
Ohio citizens in schools, healthcare facilities, businesses, industrial facilities and many more.
Our educator's are strategically located throughout Ohio servicing roughly 10 counties each. These educators
mentor fire departments in Community Risk Reduction to make Ohio safer.
